This year, we reaffirmed <strong>our commitment to technological innovation, professional education, and a more connected and collaborative national film industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From the <strong>World Trade Center in Mexico City<\/strong>, <strong>EFD Studios<\/strong> showcased a representative selection of its cinematographic equipment rental solutions, featuring <strong>cutting-edge cameras such as the Sony VENICE 2, RED Raptor, ARRI ALEXA 35, Vintage Glass optics, lighting systems,<\/strong> and more. This groundbreaking system allows for shooting with the lens detached from the sensor, while maintaining precise control over the focal plane\u2014ideal for projects in search of a more expressive or auteur visual language.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"c-post-content__footer-img aligncenter wp-image-3930 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/efd-studios.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2025\/06\/Picture2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"453\" height=\"568\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-post-content__footer-img-text\" style=\"text-align: center;\">Sergio de U\u00f1a<\/p>\n<p>The presentation explored the system\u2019s expressive and technical possibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Parallel and perpendicular shifts of the focal plane<\/li>\n<li>Tilt and swing movements of the optical axis from the sensor plane<\/li>\n<li>Free and precise adjustment of depth of field<\/li>\n<li>Smooth, intuitive movement with suspended optics<\/li>\n<li>Expanded sensor coverage = greater compositional freedom<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All of these tools enable a freer, more poetic and subjective visual approach\u2014perfect for filmmakers working within experimental or emotionally driven aesthetics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Circa24: Real On-Set Learning<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This year, <strong>EFD Studios was joined by Circa24<\/strong>, its latest educational initiative in film and acting, created in partnership with <strong>Animal de Luz<\/strong>, the production company founded by <strong>Inna Pay\u00e1n, <\/strong>known for her commitment to social and auteur cinema in Mexico, with acclaimed titles such as \u201c<em>La jaula de oro\u201d,<\/em> and her continued support of emerging voices in the industry.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3926\" src=\"https:\/\/efd-studios.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2025\/06\/DSC03973.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2120\" height=\"1416\" srcset=\"https:\/\/efd-studios.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2025\/06\/DSC03973.jpg 2120w, https:\/\/efd-studios.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2025\/06\/DSC03973-768x513.jpg 768w, https:\/\/efd-studios.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2025\/06\/DSC03973-1536x1026.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/efd-studios.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2025\/06\/DSC03973-2048x1368.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/efd-studios.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2025\/06\/DSC03973-600x401.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2120px) 100vw, 2120px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Circa24<\/strong> is a hands-on film academy focused on real set experience, where actors, technicians, and filmmakers are trained under real production conditions and guided by active industry professionals. Its proposal is further strengthened by strategic partnerships with key institutions across Ibero-America, including the <strong>Escuela Nacional de Cine de Colombia (ENNAC)<\/strong>, the <strong>Madrid Audiovisual Drama School (MADS)<\/strong>, the <strong>Instituto Latinoamericano en Ciencias Cinematogr\u00e1ficas (ILATACC)<\/strong>, the <strong>Mexican Society of Cinematographers (AMC)<\/strong>, and the <strong>Mexican Gaffers Association (AMG)<\/strong>. These alliances are complemented by collaborations with creative companies such as <strong>Cenit Estudio Creativo<\/strong>, <strong>Spaceboy<\/strong>, and <strong>146XR<\/strong>, which contribute specialized knowledge in virtual production, immersive technologies, and new narrative formats.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A More Horizontal and Self-Driven Industry<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the event, <strong>Nico Torres Pay\u00e1n<\/strong>, Director of Circa24, shared the project&#8217;s core philosophy:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Circa24 was born from an alliance between EFD Studios and Animal de Luz. Here, we aim to teach students to be self-driven\u2014to create their own projects, to be fearless, to keep going.
